OmniFit HIIT Personal Training is a private, 1-on-1 high-intensity interval training program in Pacific Beach, San Diego, designed specifically for busy professionals over 30. Unlike group HIIT classes at studios like F45 or Orangetheory, every OmniFit HIIT session is individualized — intervals, rest periods, exercise selection, and intensity are all customized based on the client's movement assessment, injury history, and conditioning goals. Each session includes a corrective exercise warm-up, coached interval blocks using kettlebells, bodyweight, battle ropes, or sprints, and a structured cooldown with mobility work. OmniFit HIIT is supervised by NASM-certified trainer Nemezio Lopez Perez (CES, PES, BCS) and follows the same Assess → Correct → Build → Sustain methodology as all OmniFit programs.

Why Coached HIIT

Efficient Conditioning — Without the Injury Risk

HIIT is one of the most effective conditioning methods for fat loss, cardiovascular health, and metabolic efficiency. But generic group classes push everyone through the same high-impact movements — regardless of joint health, injury history, or fitness level. OmniFit's approach is different: every interval is coached and scaled to your body.

30–45 Minutes
Complete sessions that fit a busy schedule — including warm-up and cooldown.
Coached Intensity
Your intervals are prescribed and monitored — not random, not generic.
Joint-Friendly
Corrective warm-up + 3/10 pain ceiling rule. High intensity doesn't mean high impact.
EPOC Afterburn
Elevated metabolism for 24–36 hours after each session — burn more while you recover.

Ideal Client

Who OmniFit HIIT Is Built For

OmniFit HIIT is designed for busy professionals between 30 and 55 who want efficient conditioning without the joint stress of generic group classes. Typical clients include executives with packed schedules, desk workers needing metabolic stimulation, professionals returning to fitness after years of inactivity, and clients already in an OmniFit strength program who want to add conditioning sessions. OmniFit HIIT is not a bootcamp — there are no leaderboards, no "push through the pain" culture, and no one-size-fits-all programming.

Not sure if HIIT or strength training is the right starting point? During your consultation, we'll assess your conditioning, goals, and injury history to recommend the right program mix.

Our Approach

How HIIT Fits Into the OmniFit Method

HIIT is one component of a complete coaching system. Every OmniFit client — whether focused on conditioning, fat loss, or strength — follows the Assess → Correct → Build → Sustain methodology. Your HIIT programming is built on your movement assessment and adjusted based on your progress data.

For most professionals over 30, we recommend 2–3 HIIT sessions per week combined with 1–2 strength sessions. This balance maximizes conditioning and fat loss while protecting joints and allowing recovery. Your exact mix is determined during your consultation and tracked over time.

Questions

HIIT Training FAQs

How is OmniFit HIIT different from F45 or Orangetheory?
F45 and Orangetheory are group classes with the same workout for everyone. OmniFit HIIT is private 1-on-1 coaching where your intervals, exercise selection, and intensity are customized to your body, injuries, and goals. We also build corrective exercise and mobility into every session.
Is HIIT safe if I have old injuries or joint problems?
Yes. Every session follows the 3/10 pain ceiling rule — if a movement causes more than mild discomfort, it's modified or replaced. The corrective warm-up addresses your specific limitations. High intensity doesn't have to mean high impact.
How often should I do HIIT?
For most professionals over 30, we recommend 2–3 HIIT sessions per week combined with 1–2 strength sessions. Your exact frequency is determined by your goals, recovery capacity, and overall programming.
Can I combine HIIT with OmniFit's strength training?
Absolutely — most OmniFit clients do both. Your HIIT and strength sessions are programmed together so they complement each other rather than competing for recovery. This is part of the Assess → Correct → Build → Sustain framework.
What should I bring to an outdoor HIIT session?
Water, sunscreen, and athletic shoes. We bring all equipment — kettlebells, bands, battle ropes, or whatever the session calls for. Studio sessions include everything.
