The OmniFit Method
Every La Jolla client follows the same four-phase methodology: Assess, Correct, Build, Sustain. Your program starts with a $110 Performance Diagnostic and a comprehensive movement screening that maps your body's compensations, restrictions, and asymmetries: objective data before a single rep is programmed.
We address dysfunction before adding load. This is the phase most trainers skip, and it's the reason most professionals get injured or plateau. Whether you're dealing with desk-related posture issues, recovering from surgery, or returning to training after years away, the method adapts to your body.
La Jolla clients especially benefit from the in-home format: no commute time, sessions that fit between meetings, and training in a comfortable, private environment. We bring the expertise. You just show up.
Why La Jolla Professionals Choose OmniFit
Assessment-Driven, Not Template-Based
Every exercise is selected based on data from your Performance Diagnostic and movement screen, not pulled from a generic template. Your program evolves as you do.
Corrective-First Philosophy
We fix what's broken before building on top of it. Most La Jolla clients present with desk-related dysfunction: forward head posture, hip flexor tightness, shoulder impingement. We address these first.
Built for Busy Schedules
In-home sessions eliminate commute time. Flexible scheduling from early morning through evening. Virtual options for travel weeks. Your training fits your calendar.
Meet Nemezio LopezPerez
Nemezio LopezPerez is a NASM Elite Trainer and the founder of OmniFit Performance. He holds twelve certifications across movement, nutrition, and metabolic health: NASM CPT, CES, PES, BCS, and CNC, an ACE Corrective Exercise Specialist credential, three Precision Nutrition certifications (Level 1, Sleep Stress and Recovery, and Nutrition for Metabolic Health), and three Eden clinical-collaboration certifications supporting clients on GLP-1 and peptide protocols. Every program he builds starts with a 45-minute movement assessment and follows the Assess, Correct, Build, Sustain framework with a strict 3/10 pain ceiling rule.
More about Nemezio โWho We Coach
The professionals we coach in La Jolla tend to arrive in one of three patterns:
The Desk-Bound Executive
Ten-hour days at a desk, rounded shoulders, a forward head, and an old lifting or sports injury that flares up whenever training gets serious. The program starts corrective: fix the movement patterns first, then build strength on top of them.
The Post-Rehab Professional
Discharged from physical therapy, cleared to train, but nobody showed them how to load safely again. OmniFit is the bridge: a strict 3/10 pain ceiling rule, progressive strength work, and coordination with physical therapists when needed.
The 50+ Professional
Done with bootcamps their joints will not tolerate, but not done getting stronger. Age-appropriate progressive strength training, calibrated to recovery capacity, measured against their own baseline.
The 9-Point Movement Screen
Every OmniFit program starts with a 45-minute consultation and the $110 Performance Diagnostic, credited in full toward a 3-month package. The diagnostic includes a nine-point movement screen:
- Overhead Squat Assessment โ compensations in ankles, knees, hips, and shoulders under a loaded pattern
- Single-Leg Squat โ unilateral stability, hip strength, knee tracking
- Push & Pull Patterns โ shoulder mechanics and scapular stability under load
- Posture Photos โ front, side, and back baseline, re-scored quarterly
- Joint Range of Motion โ shoulders, hips, ankles, thoracic spine
- Grip Strength โ a reliable marker of functional strength, tracked monthly
- BodyStat Body Composition โ medical-grade bioimpedance via the BodyStat 1500 MDD: lean mass, fat mass, hydration
- Core Stability โ plank and anti-rotation testing
- Gait Analysis โ walking mechanics that reveal asymmetries and compensations
Every finding feeds directly into your program. Nothing is generic, and nothing is guessed.

Do you train only in La Jolla?
No. La Jolla marks the southern edge of our concierge in-home territory. We also serve Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad, Carmel Valley, Rancho Santa Fe, and 4S Ranch. Studio sessions are available inside Teqneeq FHC, a members-only functional health and performance lab at 10772 Thornmint Rd in 4S Ranch, San Diego, about 30 minutes from La Jolla.
What is the Performance Diagnostic?
The OmniFit Performance Diagnostic ($110) uses the BodyStat 1500 MDD, a medical-grade bioimpedance device, to establish your body composition baseline: fat mass, lean mass, and hydration markers. Combined with a 9-point movement screen, it gives us objective data to build your program from and to measure real progress against at rescans. If you continue into a training package, the diagnostic fee is credited in full toward a 3-month package.
What certifications does your trainer hold?
OmniFit's founder Nemezio LopezPerez holds NASM-CPT (Certified Personal Trainer), NASM-CES (Corrective Exercise Specialist), NASM-PES (Performance Enhancement Specialist), NASM-BCS (Behavior Change Specialist), NASM-CNC (Certified Nutrition Coach), and the ACE Corrective Exercise Specialist credential, plus Precision Nutrition certifications. All programming is evidence-based and assessment-driven.
How is OmniFit different from a big-box gym or boutique fitness studio?
OmniFit is fully individualized, one-on-one training, not group workouts. Every session is programmed for your specific body, goals, and assessment data. There are no templates, no shared attention, and no competition element. See our full comparison with F45, Orangetheory, and big-box gyms.
What if I have chronic pain or a past injury?
This is exactly what our corrective-first approach is designed for. We begin every program with a comprehensive movement assessment that identifies pain patterns, compensations, and restrictions. We follow a strict 3/10 pain ceiling protocol and build programming around your limitations, not in spite of them. Learn more about our corrective exercise and post-rehab programming.
