In-home sessions are $200–250 per visit including travel, with all programming, nutrition guidance, and accountability systems included.

The Problem

You Built a Home Gym. Now You Need a System.

You invested in the equipment. You have the space. But without expert programming, periodic assessment, and real accountability, the home gym becomes expensive storage. Sound familiar?

YouTube / App Workouts

Generic programs not designed for your body. No one watching your form. No one adjusting when your shoulder or knee flares up. No accountability when you skip a week.

Mobile Trainers

Show up with a bag of bands. No assessment, no periodization, no corrective work. They deliver a workout, not a program. Your home gym equipment sits unused.

OmniFit In-Home

Full personal training program using your equipment. Movement assessment, corrective protocols, custom periodization, nutrition coaching, and data-driven progress tracking — all at your home.

In-home personal training eliminates the two biggest barriers executives face: commute time and gym environment friction. OmniFit's in-home service delivers the same structured Assess → Correct → Build → Sustain methodology used in its Pacific Beach studio, conducted in the client's own home gym using their existing equipment. Programs are individually designed for each client's movement assessment results, equipment inventory, and schedule — not adapted from generic templates. The typical OmniFit in-home client is a professional or executive over 30 in La Jolla, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, or Carmel Valley with a home gym they built but have not used consistently, or have used without expert programming and structured accountability.

Common Questions

In-Home Training FAQs

How much does an in-home personal trainer cost in San Diego?
OmniFit's in-home training is $200–250 per session, which includes the base training rate ($150–175 depending on commitment length) plus a $50–75 travel fee based on your location. At 2 sessions per week on a 6-month plan, monthly investment is approximately $1,600–1,800. Every program includes a full movement assessment, custom programming, nutrition guidance, weekly accountability, and monthly progress reports. Full breakdown on the Training Rates page.
What areas do you serve for in-home training?
OmniFit serves La Jolla, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Fairbanks Ranch, Santaluz, Carmel Valley, Solana Beach, Encinitas (including Olivenhain), Carlsbad (La Costa area), 4S Ranch, Point Loma, Mission Hills, and Pacific Beach. Travel fees range from $50–75 per session depending on distance from Pacific Beach. If your neighborhood isn't listed, reach out — we may accommodate select locations.
What equipment do I need in my home gym?
At minimum: adjustable dumbbells (5–50+ lbs), an adjustable bench, resistance bands, and about 8×8 feet of open floor space. An ideal setup adds a power rack or squat rack, cable machine, pull-up bar, and cardio equipment. During your consultation, send photos of your space and we'll assess whether it's sufficient or recommend additions.
How is OmniFit different from a mobile trainer?
Mobile trainers typically bring portable equipment and deliver generic workouts. OmniFit delivers a full personal training program that happens to take place at your home. You receive the same 9-point movement assessment, custom periodized programming, corrective exercise protocols, and structured accountability system used in our Pacific Beach studio. We train using your equipment for complete strength and body recomposition — not a band-and-bodyweight routine.
What does a typical in-home session look like?
Sessions are 45–60 minutes. Each begins with a targeted warm-up and corrective activation sequence based on your assessment. The main training block focuses on compound strength movements using your equipment, progressed systematically each week. Sessions end with mobility work addressing your specific desk posture issues. Everything is logged in the Trainerize app for tracking.
Can I combine in-home training with virtual coaching?
Yes — many clients use a hybrid approach. 1–2 in-home sessions per week for hands-on coaching and heavy lifts, plus app-guided programming for independent training days. This is especially effective for clients who travel. Your in-home sessions focus on corrective work and compound strength, while app sessions maintain consistency from hotel gyms or on the road.
What results can I expect in 3–6 months?
Typical results for committed clients training 2× per week: measurable posture improvement within 4–6 weeks, noticeable body composition changes by month 2–3, and 20–30 pounds of sustainable fat loss over 4–6 months. Strength benchmarks improve significantly — most clients double or triple starting weights on key lifts. Monthly progress reports track posture photos, strength data, body composition, and adherence so you always know exactly where you stand.
What's the 30-Day Performance Guarantee?
Available on the 6-month commitment plan. Attend all scheduled sessions, follow the nutrition guidance, and complete weekly check-ins for 30 days. If you don't feel the program is right for you after full compliance, cancel and all future monthly charges stop immediately. You only pay for the first month. The guarantee is tied to compliance because results require consistency.
Do I need prior training experience?
No. OmniFit works with clients at every starting point — from complete beginners who have never touched a weight to experienced lifters who need corrective work after injuries. The 9-point movement assessment establishes your exact baseline, and your program is built from there. Every exercise is coached in person, progressed systematically, and tracked.
